Worship: Exalting God
The first purpose of Christ Community Church is EXALTING GOD.
God created us for His Glory.
Isaiah 43:7…everyone who is called by my name, whom I
created for my glory, whom I formed and made.
Therefore we should live for His Glory.
1 Corinthians 10:31: So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever
you do, do all to the glory of God.
The EXALTING of God, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit is both public and personal. Because God has saved us through faith in the person and work of Jesus Christ our sins are forgiven and we have been reconciled to God. By God’s grace, we are brought into a relationship to enjoy His glorious presence forever. Our entire life is worship (Romans 12:1-2) and Gospel-centered, God-exalting, and Spirit-anointed worship begins with our heart and mind, overflowing into our daily lives instructed and inspired by the Word of God.
We worship God publicly as a gathered body of Christ and personally as we are scattered in every sphere of society. Together, we worship on Sunday mornings @ 10:15am. Personally, we are to worship God every moment of our lives. Bible Reading Plans
