Letter from the Elders:
The elders have prayed and discussed for several weeks about returning to worship as the assembled body. We want to obey the clear teaching in the New Testament to gather as the body, “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near” (Hebrews 10:24-25). We also want to use God’s wisdom (Proverbs 3:7; James 1:5-6) and show love to our neighbor (Matthew 22:39). Therefore, we have chosen to have a gathering outside of the church house while keeping with the livestream on all three platforms: www.christcommunity.us/sermons, Facebook, and YouTube.
These are some guidelines to govern our assembly. If you are sick or have a compromised immune system, we ask that you stay at home and view the service through livestream.
The field inside the gate in the front of the house will be used for parking. Attendants will be onsite to guide you.
We will provide bottle water in a cooler to better serve you.
We will have masks for those wanting to wear them.
The bathroom inside the house is available for use and will be sanitized before and after the worship gathering.
We will have sanitizer set up in various locations for your use.
Offering baskets will be available for those wanting to give at the gathering. Also, we have the availability to give online at www.christcommunity.us/give or you may mail a check to “Christ Community Church” at PO Box 1394, Inverness, FL 34451.
We ask that you continue to pray for the leadership of Christ Community and our entire body as we navigate these unfamiliar times. We are currently unable to meet at Lecanto High School and we are looking at other temporary options. Amidst all the uncertainties, we are sure of this: that God is sovereign, Jesus is King, the Spirit indwells us and empowers us for the mission to intentionally make disciples of all nations by passionately preaching the gospel, compassionately loving one-another well, and zealously living for the glorification of God in all things as Christ builds His church!
For His Name’s Sake,
Christ Community Church Elders
